Commercial Real Estate Veteran Bridging the Knowledge Gap in Restaurant Space
07/11/2012 – Marina del Rey, Calif. (Restaurant News Release) – Mark Chase, a commercial real estate veteran with extensive experience representing restaurant tenants and landlords announces the launch of Restaurant Real Estate Advisors .
The company was founded to fill a void between commercial real estate brokers who dabble in restaurant leases and business brokers who sell existing restaurants. Without in-depth knowledge of lease clauses, permitting and construction, restaurant operators often take huge risks when they lease space to open a new restaurant or purchase an existing location.
“Restaurant operators face numerous challenges opening new restaurants. The difficulty of opening a restaurant compared with a typical retail store is similar to the difference between buying a new track home and building a spec home from the ground up” said Mark Chase President of Restaurant Real Estate Advisors.
“Mark has helped us secure numerous locations over the years for our Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt shops. Recently he helped us negotiate the extension and assignment of our lease and cancellation of a personal guaranty when we sold one of our stores. Mark has always worked hard to get us the best deal and protect our interests” said Dan Finch.
