ConAgra Mills® Selects SolArc’s RightAngle for its Byproducts Execution and Risk Management Solution
11/01/2011 - OMAHA, Neb.- ConAgra Mills®, a leading national supplier of premium multi-use flours and innovative
whole grains, today announces that it has selected SolArc’s RightAngle as its byproducts execution and risk management solution.
According to their SolArc, ConAgra Mills began the transition to SAP, which put the organization in a position to adopt commodities trading technology with out-of-the-box SAP integration. Most of the existing software products for the byproducts execution space rely on dated, and aging techonologies, and fail to provide adequate integration, support, and real-time data to CPG’s, aggregators, and trading desks in the agricultural space.
“SolArc’s RightAngle solution is the next step in our continued commitment to be on the leading edge of technology,” said Bob Elliott, ConAgra Mills Director of Byproducts Merchandising. “As the leader in the flour milling industry, this solution expands our capabilities by enhancing our byproducts execution to the benefit of our customers across the country.”
“SolArc is proud to be selected by ConAgra Mills, a clear leader in the flour milling industry, and an organization committed to continuous improvement,” said Brad Anderson, CEO of SolArc. “Our RightAngle solution will provide real-time operational and risk management information, enabling ConAgra Mills to more efficiently manage its byproducts business.”
The RightAngle solution allows ConAgra Mills to expand its capabilities around an ever-growing enterprise solution for risk management. For ConAgra Mills customers, the tool will enable improved efficiencies in the scheduling and delivery of byproducts, and will be seamlessly integrated into our existing SAP environment.
“This investment in new technology is one more representation of ConAgra Mills’ ongoing commitment to improve our products and processes,” said Bill Stoufer, President of ConAgra Mills. “We view this IT solution as a strategic advantage not only for our business, but also for our customers as they manage their businesses in a world of commodity volatility.”
