FAL FOODS WORLDWIDE Launches Natural Food and Dessert Company
07/26/2012 – West Orange, N.J. – Sheikh Fahad Al Athel, Chairman of Fal Holdings, and renowned ice cream expert Malcolm Stogo today announced the formation of a new global entity, FAL FOODS WORLDWIDE.
Together, Al Athel and Stogo have over 40 years of experience in the food and beverage industry and extensive networks and long-term relationships with leading partners throughout the food industry supply chain. They have set up a company that will specialize in producing and providing natural food and dessert products and services to in both a retail and industrial capacity.
FAL FOODS WORLDWIDE expects to provide customers with up to the minute trends that can be developed and implemented around the world, either in cafes, restaurants, juice bars or through wholesale venues to others seeking their own unique products, grown from their own farms.
FAL FOODS WORLDWIDE will invest globally to establish retail products and brands, including frozen desserts, juices, coffees and baked goods. These products will be integrated throughout their own restaurant and cafe-style venues, maximizing investments in the United States, Europe, Middle East and South America.
The company's first retail cafe concept, Brazilia Cafe, will be opened in Uberlingen, Germany later this summer, with future cafes opening in New York, Istanbul and London.
In November, 2012, FAL FOODS WORLDWIDE will launch a new 6,500 square foot manufacturing facility in New York City to start production on a new frozen non-dairy ice cream, DF MAVENS. This facility will also include a separate boutique co-packing operation for small ice cream manufacturers who are looking to have private label ice cream production done in pints, small containers and tubs, either through a continuous ice cream process or batch freezing.
