Ground Round Returns to New Jersey With the First of Five New Restaurants
Bradley Beach Location Staffing 75 In Preparation for September Opening
08/30/2012 – Bradley Beach, N.J. – (Restaurant News Release) Ground Round is returning again in markets where the brand is known, including at the Bowl & Recreation Center on Main Street in Bradley Beach, New Jersey. The former Brewster’s Pub has undergone major renovations and property improvements, along with the bowling center, with plans for a grand re-opening of the entire property in early September. “Ground Round is a brand we all remember here in New Jersey and we are proud and excited to bring this brand back to the area,” says Mike Little, CEO of Recreation Centers LLC., local owner and franchisee of Ground Rounds in New Jersey. “Recreation Centers, LLC has signed a Development Agreement to open Bradley Beach and four other locations over the next few years, including East Windsor, New Jersey later this year as well,” adds Jack Crawford, President and CEO of Ground Round Independent Owners Cooperative, LLC (Ground Round IOC).
The Bradley Beach location will open as Ground Round Sports Grille, a brand designed to feature a sports bar and lounge atmosphere with a pub style menu suited for this particular operation. The East Windsor location, with its larger restaurant and facility, will sport a full sized Ground Round Grill & Bar facility and expanded menu. Both locations will offer those favorite menu items and full liquor and bar service guests expect from Ground Round. “Our Bradley Beach facility will feature multiple flat screen TV programming, new and expanded bar and seating accommodations, an innovative and interactive computer system to enhance execution and service times while providing guests with on-line ordering and pay at the table options, all with a Ground Round menu even better than you remember!” offers Dennis Todero, Director of Operations. The Ground Round Sports Grille and Bradley Bowling Center is completing its pre-opening training at this time and will employ more than 75 local employees.
