MOOYAH Opens First Better Burger Restaurant in North Richland Hills
Restaurant Expects to Hire Twenty People
08/24/2012 – DALLAS – MOOYAH announced today that they will be opening a new restaurant in North Richland Hills, Texas on Monday, September 3 (Labor Day).
MOOYAH began franchising in 2007 with a simple mission to deliver the best burgers, fries, and shake experience anywhere—and have fun doing it. The brand exploded in just five years with 24 restaurants in the Dallas Ft. Worth area and nearly 50 restaurants total throughout the country spanning from California to Connecticut.
“The burger business is booming right now, but MOOYAH sets itself apart from the herd with our high quality food, commitment to freshness, welcoming atmosphere, and serious sense of fun. We love bringing the MOOYAH experience to new cities around the country and are excited to double our unit count this year,” said Alan Hixon, the company’s president.
Franchisee Brian Wells worked in area restaurants with his father since high school and became a Subway franchisee in 1999, was ready to branch out from sandwiches and “steak” his claim in the world of better burgers.
Wells is looking to fill 20 openings for the Richland Hills restaurant. Since the latest MOOYAH design offers guests the chance to see every part of the food preparation, from the 24-hour French fry process to burger building, Wells is looking for people who love to smile.
“I worked in restaurants from high school until now, which showed me early on how to prepare food, work hard behind the scenes, and most of all serve people. When I hire, I’m looking for people with the same attitude. I’m excited to branch into the better burger business with MOOYAH because I know the community will love the superior quality of our service, environment, and food,” said Brian Wells.
Brian, who learned family business values from his dad, is using his MOOYAH to teach his two children the same core principles his father taught him. His son, age nine, already has big dreams of being involved in the restaurant business one day, and his daughter, who is just four, happily serves as an official taste tester.
