Will Conniff’s Role Expands At Southern Wine & Spirits
02/13/2012 – MIAMI (Business Wire)--Brad Vassar, Executive Vice President, General Manager of Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc. (Southern), the country’s leading wine and spirits distributor, today announced the expansion of senior management responsibilities for Will Conniff, Executive Vice President, General Manager of Southern’s Illinois and Kentucky operations. Conniff’s duties will now also include overseeing the Company’s Minnesota division.
Commenting on Conniff’s new Minnesota accountabilities, Vassar said, “Will’s additional management duties take effect immediately — with Dan Daul, Vice President, General Sales Manager of Southern’s Minnesota division, to report directly to Conniff.”
Regarding Conniff’s expanded role, Wayne Chaplin, President & Chief Operating Officer of Southern, added, “Will has been and is a valued leader of Southern’s management team for 35 years. For the last decade, he has expertly directed our operations in both Kentucky and Illinois, enhancing the level of service we provide to our customers and supplier partners in these two markets.
