SVEDKA Vodka Appoints New Vice President of Marketing

08/16/2012 – NEW YORK (PRNewswire) – SVEDKA Vodka (owned by Constellation Brands), the fastest growing top-10 spirits brand and the second largest imported vodka brand in the United States (Impact, 2012), announced today that Diana Pawlik will serve as Vice President of Marketing for the brand. Pawlik, a veteran of Constellation Brands, has served in this role on an interim basis since March and during that time has spearheaded initiatives driving both top and bottom line growth for the business, as well as actively leading the marketing team and representing the SVEDKA brand.  Moving forward, Diana and her team will continue to develop breakthrough brand strategies, product development, innovation and marketing programs to further build the SVEDKA brand.

"I am thrilled to continue working with Constellation Brands and embracing this exciting role with SVEDKA Vodka," said Pawlik. "This brand has established such a unique position in the marketplace, and I look forward to working to fuel its dynamic growth and taking the brand to new heights."

SVEDKA has made its mark within the creative marketing industry for its conception of the SVEKDA "Fembot," as well as its futuristic campaign imagery and snarky, tongue-in-cheek messaging.  It will now be up to Pawlik to continue to innovate and evolve the cheap chic brand through a combination of artistic direction, unique programming and creative initiatives.  Nearing twenty years of experience, Pawlik has held a variety of leadership and executive positions in the United States, Canada and Asia, and most recently an 11-year tenure with Constellation Brands. Pawlik has received many industry accolades and awards throughout her career, acknowledging her innovative market savviness and progressive thinking.

A native Canadian, Pawlik received her education at University of Manitoba. Throughout her career, she has lived in Montreal, Shanghai, San Francisco, and Toronto, and currently resides in New York City.
