Tom Fricke Named CEO HMSHost
01/13/2012 – Yesterday, Autogrill American Division (Milan: AGL IM) announced HMSHost has named Tom Fricke as its new CEO. Fricke will report to the director of the group, Gianmario Tondato From Ruos.
Fricke’s background includes work with a wide range of food companies including PepsiCo, Frito-Lay and Giant Eagle Supermarkets and has served as a consultant for both Bain & Company and Cannon Associates. In 2008, Fricke was named CEO of Cartridge World.
Known by his former employer to have a keen knowledge of multi-national operations, Fricke attended the Naval Academy and served in the Navy for five years. Later, he attended the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he received an MBA.
HMSHost provides food and retail services in about 200 airports, malls and other U.S. locations.
